Your buddy on Perplexity

A Block Buddy is a face for your agent, drawn from its name. Perplexity's own agents have no face you can set. If your agent has an MCP server, though, its connector takes an icon: use the tile. For your own profile picture, use the pad.

Your agent as a connector

Download the Connector icon.
In Perplexity, open Plugins → Add custom → Connector → Add MCP connector → Remote.
Name it after your buddy, and give your agent's HTTPS MCP server URL.
Under Icon, choose the PNG. Tick the acknowledgement and click Add, then click the card to sign in to it.

On an Enterprise plan, an admin can add it for everyone: Enterprise settings → Permissions → Connectors permissions → + Custom connector.

Your own profile picture

Download Your profile picture.
Click your avatar → Settings → Account → Change avatar unverified, and upload the PNG.

For agents

The connector icon is uploaded by a person; there's no API for it. Agent API profiles have no name or icon field at all.
